The Bangladesh Project moved into its next phase in January, when a team from Bromley by Bow enabled a Health Camp to be run in Juri, rural Bangladesh. Dr Julia, Practice Nurse Yvonne (with her daughter Ellie) and Jubeda from the Health Trainers joined Lilu Ahmed and Rev. Helen to attend the event.
Seven of our brave Brighton Marathon runners came visited the Centre last week and see the difference their fundraising will make. During their visit the runners visited some of the Centre's projects and spoke with project managers about the impact these project have on our community. In Community Care the runners were shown some of their creative projects including a stylishly decorated dolls house and during their visit to the PoLLeN barn they heard about horticulture therapy from the project's members.
