Local artists from ASC Studios based on Empson Street are hosting an Open Studios and workshop weekend in aid of the Bromley by Bow Centre.

These talented artists are opening their studios to the public and showcasing their diverse work. The programme is packed fulled of free interactive art workshops ranging from pinhole camera workshops to mask making. To round the weekend off there will be an art auction.

The ASC Artists have chosen to use this event to raise money for their local charity the Bromley by Bow Centre.

  • Friday 17 September

6pm-late Private View

  • Saturday 18 September

12-4pm Mask-making/Theatre workshop led by Claire Strickland and Jennifer Farmer

4.30pm Mask-making/Theatre workshop performance

12-5pm Ready, Steady, Art – workshops led by various artists

  • Sunday 19 September

12-4pm Pinhole camera workshops led by Zoë Farmer and Dominic Harris

12-4pm Salon crit of eight artists’ work facilitated by Sarah Rowles of Q-Art

4pm Charity auction to raise funds for the Bromley-by-Bow Centre

10% of all artists’ sales will be donated to the Bromley-by-Bow Centre
