In the Olympic year, the Bromley by Bow Centre is offering a team of riders the chance to cycle the 100km unique Nightrider course and give vulnerable people in one of the UK's most deprived communities the chance to transform their lives.
The Nightrider is a crucial fundraiser for the Bromley by Bow Centre. Last year our cyclists raised an amazing £20,000 which has enabled the Centre to continue to work with over 2000 families, adults and young people each week.
This exciting new project assists members in the community to help one another and share skills. Time Banking is based on the idea that everyone has something to offer and everyone can benefit from others.
Volunteering England funded the Bromley by Bow Centre's Dance Cafe project through its Access to Volunteering Fund last year.
Our project was chosen by Volunteering England as one of ten case studies highlighting the Fund's achievements. This involved working with a professional film maker, which our Dance Cafe group really enjoyed being involved in.
