Our Employment & Skills Team supports over 1500 people every year to access part and full time employment, apprenticeships, training, work experience placements, volunteer opportunities, accredited courses, ESOL classes and employability skills workshops.
We pride ourselves on being able to support people through a specialised, tailored service that suits the needs of the individuals we work with. We offer one-to-one support as well as access to courses, enabling you to connect with others so that you can work together to realise your goals.
We work across multiple sectors including administration, construction, health and social care and many more. Whatever your experience, we can help you take the next step on your career path.
We support anyone of working age. Our Employment & Skills Team are friendly and approachable and offer careers advice and guidance to young people, single parents, refugees, long-term unemployed, people returning to the jobs market and those wanting to change career.
If you want to gain new skills and qualifications, get back into work after some time off or even change career completely, you might want to access some training.
We can offer you:
- Apprenticeships in Childcare and Business & Administration
- ESOL classes to help you improve your English
- Computer courses to give you confidence in using digital technology and assistance in searching for jobs online
