bromley by bow Water music festival

A Water City collaboration between the Grand Union Orchestra and the Bromley by Bow has resulted in a wonderful series of workshops and concerts. The Africa Alive concert in the church on Thursday 11th February featured two local primary schools as well as the orchestra, with Michael Bocchman on the violin. Instruments from different parts of Africa were featured and the church hummed with music and rhythm.
There followed a series of percussion workshops for local families with the grand finale of a concert on 4th May. Grand Union Orchestra brings together musicians from all over the world and the fusion is truly dynamic!
