Do you have an interest in making a difference in your community?
Have you ever dreamed of gaining a degree?
Thanks to the support of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, the Bromley by Bow Centre is looking to recruit local people for its BA in Social Enterprise degree course due to start this September. If your work or volunteering connects you with your local community you are the ideal candidate to enrol on the Centre’s Communiversity programme. This course is designed for people who have work experience but who may not have academic qualifications.
The bursary scheme means that the Centre will pay almost all of the tuition fees for eligible learners. This part-time course is taught by lecturers and tutors from the University of East London, and most of the classes are based here.
The programme incorporates a full learner support package that helps learners to study, develop themselves professionally and connect with opportunities. Learners on the programme will develop the skills and capacity to engage and support communities to take advantage of some of the largest regeneration opportunities in Western Europe such as the Olympics and the Thames Gateway and Water City initiatives. The programme will provide learners and the organisation if they are working, with seminars and networking opportunities that will help them connect with these major opportunities.
This exciting programme has been made possible thanks to the generous support of Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
