The Bromley by Bow Centre is celebrating its Silver Anniversary in 2009, with a wide range of events and activities celebrating our achievements so far and looking forward to the future.

Today, the Bromley by Bow Centre is many things - an arts centre, children's centre, community centre, a health centre, a centre of learning, and a social enterprise hub. It has a turnover of over £4m and employs more than 100 people, and makes a huge contribution to its local community and beyond.

Although the Silver Anniversary is a great opportunity to reflect on our achievements, we are not resting on our laurels. The Bromley by Bow Centre is determined to seize the opportunity that new investment and regeneration is bringing to East London. The Olympics are coming in 2012, and a host of other developments have the potential to transform East London for the better. The economic outlook may be more difficult now, but these are still exciting opportunities.
