We are entering a charity running team into the 2011 ASICS British 10k London Run and we are looking for enthusiastic runners to take part and fundraise for the Centre.
The race takes place on Sunday 10th July and follows one of the world’s greatest race routes through the heart of London passing many of the world’s most famous and iconic landmarks including St James’s Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, Big Ben and the London Eye.
Every year this event has sold out, we have secured a limited number of places but anticipate that they will fill up quickly.
What we need from you…
All we ask for is a £30 registration fee and then you can get to work with the all important training and fundraising. We ask for a commitment to raise a minimum sponsorship of £200, but fear not, we will be on hand with tips and advice. 10km distance is an achievable challenge for all. You don’t need to be super fit and this race is a great way to get in shape for summer.
You won’t be alone!
The Bromley by Bow Centre will be on hand to offer support and advice along the way. You will receive fundraising and training advice as well as on the day support and encouragement. We’ll also invite you to the Centre to see how your fundraising will transform the lives of disadvantaged families living in East London.
