Team-building opportunities

Mural teamSpending a day volunteering can be a brilliant way of getting to know colleagues and making a difference in the community. Volunteering with the Bromley by Bow Centre can develop team members' team-working, motivation, creativity, communication and even skills like planning and time management. At the same teams can improve the environment for a school or a local estate or help with an arts workshop for a group of people with disabilities.

Charity challenges

Taking on a challenge can mean achieving the goal of a lifetime, whether running a marathon, completing a triathlon or even more creative feats of endurance. Raising money for a charity can give you extra motivation to get out and train, as well as sharing with your friends what you are doing.

Sponsored walks and other community events are a way of meeting people, exploring the local area and an engaging alternative way to enjoy the sunshine.

And everything you raise goes to support our work with disadvantaged communities in east London.

If you're thinking of taking on a challenge, however big or small, and might be interested in raising money for the Bromley by Bow Centre, we can help. Contact James Atkinson, jamesa@bbbc.org.uk 020 8709 9756.
