Community Remedies

Here at the Bromley by Bow Centre we have over 25 years of experience, transforming lives is at the heart of the innovative projects and services we deliver. Our integrated model supports communities to become:

  • Healthy
  • Skilled

  • Employed
  • Enterprising

Community Remedies is an internal enterprise within the Bromley by Bow Centre designed to offer a wide range of shared learning, practitioner knowledge and inspirational visits.

Study visits

A bespoke package is available to UK based and international practitioners, organisations and institutions. This includes visiting the Bromley by Bow Centre and other London or UK based social enterprises with an experienced guide who understands the context of social enterprise development within the UK. We can also arrange for social entrepreneurs and academics to join the programme and speak on topics of special interest.

Speaker service

The Bromley by Bow Centre has a range of inspirational and motivational speakers who can attend conferences, presentations, policy forums, seminars and workshops. We will identify the appropriate speaker for you based on your chosen topic or specialist area.

Master classes

We are designing a new range of master classes to be delivered over one or two days in partnership with experienced practitioners, field experts and senior professionals.

The master classes are aimed at community organisations, regeneration bodies, policy makers, statutory agencies, researchers and academics. Focussed on specific themes, the sessions will be delivered by people who have taken a similar journey and will offer the opportunity for discussion using case studies and practical examples.
