Investec - The Green Dreams Partnership and Promoting Social Enterprise
Investec is an international, specialist banking group that provides a diverse range of financial products and services to a niche client base in three principal markets, the United Kingdom, South Africa and Australia, as well as certain other geographies. In 2002, Investec became the first South African group to list in both London and Johannesburg.
Investec are partnering with Green Dreams, our landscape design & build social enterprise, to help to transform a local primary school and help young people to learn how to care for nature through creating an exciting new nature garden. Investec are also funding our Beyond the Barn social enterprise start-up programme to help set up two new social enterprises in East London. Investec staff will be involved in the partnership through:
- Volunteering opportunities over the summer, helping to build the new garden
- Helping set up a new business and create jobs through mentoring a new social enterprise
- Getting involved in supporting the work of the Centre, through marathons and other sporting challenges
