Hi Chris everything is going fine here, we have really got painting on the mural, it has been quite a full on schedule. I was a bit ill yesterday and seem to have recovered ok. Today Jenny is not too well, it seems to be a stomach bug that passes quite quickly. We will update tomo to let you know more. The mural painting is going really well, we painted from 9 to 12.30 today, back at 2pm then a painting class at 3pm. Gonna stop here. The group are working really hard and makingthe most of the trip, they have settled in so well and make friends with everybody hey meet, people in the project here really like them.
cheers Frank

The group have been launched into a working schedule with Funarte. After a day of rest and recovery from the flight they joined a mural painting session. The mural they are working on is in a large hall space with an existing mural at one end of the room. The first job was to prime the wall that the mural is going on. It is a large wall (even by Signs Of Life's standards!) Jenny, Jessica and Shakir have been getting covered in white paint and Paul and Pretti have been lending their artistic skills to help redraw the final design. The group have been working really hard! Janet (one of the founders and an artist that has recently worked at the Centre) is letting Signs Of Life stay with her in her house in Esteli. The accommodation is lovely and everyone seems to be adapting really well.
