Our tours and seminars programme gives you the opportunity to visit the Centre, find out what we mean by community regeneration and how we have gone about it. There is a wide range of packages available, and we can tailor these to suit your needs.
How does the 3rd Sector make sense of the Olympics?
For everyone who is interested in how social enterprise can work with the organisers of a major international event and physical regeneration programme to improve local people's lives, this tour and seminar starts in the renowned Bromley-by-Bow Centre and moves to Leaside Regeneration's View Tube, alongside the main Olympic Stadium. The day lasts from 10am until 4pm including lunch and refreshments.

A two hour introduction to our work including a tour of the projects followed by a general question and answer session. This is useful for individuals or for groups looking for inspiration and ideas. To book a tour please go to the booking form at the bottom of this page.
General tours take place on the second Thursday of each month (except March 4th). The dates for 2010 are:

Tours commence at 10.00am and finish around 12.00pm. Coffees are served from 9.45am

Cancellations Fee
Please note, due to the popularity of the tours, if you cannot attend the tour you have booked, it is necessary to give a three (3)weeks notice so others on the waiting list may attend. If you cancel after the notice period of three weeks (ie closer to the date) there will be charge of 50% of the original fee.

These can be half-day seminars or whole day events. They include an introduction to the history and principles underlying our approach; a tour of the projects; presentations on the key themes; discussion, creative activity, and facilitated exercises to explore how the learning can be transferred into different contexts.
These are tailor-made events, designed in advance in discussion with the group and focussing on your specific needs. We welcome a minimum group size of 10 and a maximum of 20. Seminars can be arranged at a time to suit you.
Prices for seminars vary in accordance with your needs and level of consultancy required. An all-in price will be agreed on in advance.
Refreshment, lunch and information pack are included and VAT will be added.
