Community day of learning and action

A get together for the people, by the people, in the heart of east London

Join us to celebrate community action through creative workshops, stalls, panel discussions and much more!

We want to create a space in which people can draw strength and inspiration from being together. Presentations, sharing and workshop ideas are warmly welcomed from community groups, volunteers, action groups and individuals, practitioners and organisations who are eager to share their knowledge, experiences, insights and skills in a friendly, collaborative and inclusive environment.

Programme:

9-10am – Registration and breakfast

10am – Opening and welcome

10.15am – Sharing and presentations

11.30am – “How to” mini workshops

12noon – Communal lunch

1pm – Music performance

1.45pm – Community theatre and open forum

2.45pm – All women’s disco launch

3pm – Collective action and close

5-8pm – Evening programme
