6 Week Menopause Course

This course is dedicated to discussing menopause openly and confidently.┬áIt is a safe space where you can feel comfortable talking, sharing experiences and asking questions. We will provide you with the knowledge and confidence you need to manage this natural phase in a woman’s life.

It is a collaborative project between the Centre, Bromley by Bow Health, and Fitness with Shakira.

Each week will focus on a different theme, with sessions running from 10.30am – 12pm:

Friday 17th May: Open Space to chat and introductions. Share our experiences.

Friday 24th May: What is Menopause? The role of sex hormones in the transition and stages.

Friday 31st May: Oh that is a Menopause symptom!? Understanding signs and symptoms.

Friday 7th June: myth busting and fact finding. Informed decisions.

Friday 14th June: The implementation of lifestyle changes. Exercise, Nutrition, and Self-care.

Friday 21st June: What next? Diagnosis and treatment.
