Important Information about St Andrews Health Centre

We are pleased to announce a new contract has been awarded to the Bromley by Bow
Partnership which includes provision of services at St Paul’s Way Medical Centre in Selsey Street.

The Bromley by Bow Partnership will therefore become the provider of both St Andrews and St Paul’s Way practices from 1 November 2022.

Patients do not need to do anything. Our patients will remain registered with St Andrews Health Centre, unless they wish to register with a new practice.

Changes to opening hours
The practice opening hours will be changing to 8.00am-6.30pm Monday to Friday.

The practice will be closed on Saturday and Sundays.

Across Tower Hamlets, new arrangements are being put in place for access to primary care
appointments on weekday evenings and Saturdays, to provide a consistent offer to all
patients. The service will be delivered from a number of GP practice sites in the borough,
including St Pauls Way Medical Centre. Further details can be found from the practice on how to access these appointments.

Message from Bromley by Bow Health Partnership

We have been working for our local community for over 30 years. We will continue to work
with our population health team and sister organisation – Bromley by Bow Centre, to improve health outcomes by taking a holistic approach. Our mission is to create healthy connected communities together.

Access and appointments system
As an existing patient of St Andrews Health Centre, you will be able to continue to see the same practice staff, including clinicians and management staff.

We are promoting ‘online consultations’ for those that are able to use them, as an effective way of getting an appointment with the most appropriate member of our team suited to your health needs.
Please log onto our website www.bbbc.org.uk to access the link. We see patients face to face in addition to telephone consultations.

You can download the NHS App for free to access your medical records, results and request
repeat prescriptions. Those who may have difficulty using online services will continue to be supported by our practice teams to either get online or be supported in the usual way.

Getting involved
Patients are an important voice in developing the work we do. To get involved or find out
more contact lutfa.begum1@nhs.net.

We have ‘coffee mornings’ on the first and third Thursday of every month (9:30am-11:00am)
for patients and staff – do join us.
