Roll up, roll up! Christmas season is passed but it’s still chilly outside so we had some festive fun with a pop-up panto production of Cinderella.
The Active Health programme is our brand new series of exercise classes that focus on mental wellbeing. Sessions are free, open to all abilities and take place in a warm and welcoming venue.
Globally, an estimated 264 million people suffer from depression. It’s estimated that depression and anxiety disorders cost the UK economy £70-100 billion each year. Aim4Work is our free specialist employability programme for people with common mental health conditions living in East London.
Moving home is always challenging, but even more so when moving to a new country. We worked with Tower Hamlets Council to put together some information to help new migrants feel at home when first arriving to the borough.

Our marketing and comms lead, Janet has managed to keep silent for 35 hours in a bid to raise funds for the Centre; one hour for each of the years of the Centre’s 35 years working in and with the community, to transform lives.
The Centre hosted an amazing Fun Palace event as part of an international campaign for cultural democracy that believes there’s a genius in everyone and has community at its heart.
Congratulations to Martyn and Adam from the development team who have completed the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge to raise funds for the Centre, despite demanding weather conditions.
