Cycling grew as a leisure pursuit during lockdowns, with cycle shops remaining open as essential services and many being inundated with requests for repairs and equipment as people took to the streets on two wheels.

It was also one of the activities we could still offer as a socially distanced, outdoor activity that improves health and wellbeing.

The occasion of Bike Week (30th May – 5th June) enabled us to promote some brilliant bike related activities that our community can get involved in.

Bikes and helmets are supplied free of charge for the first 3 months (a small fee is charged after this period) but you are also welcome to bring your own.
