We are busy gearing up for the ‘new normal’ as we re-open the Centre for our community.

Many services are still running effectively online but support services, activities and groups are being slowly re-introduced at the Centre to enable people to connect and enjoy the opportunity to meet face-to-face again (subject to Covid-19 regulations).

The Connection Zone and café are services that we are hoping to start operating again in the very near future, initially with a limited service as our staff and trainees gear up to their new working environment.

Our priority has always been the health and wellbeing of our community and a safe working environment for our staff and this remains the case. Rather than a full-scale re-opening, there will be a phased re-introduction with a close monitoring of our public health responsibilities.

Many services such as our health practices, social welfare advice and social prescribing services are supporting people remotely and inviting people in for consultations as required. This will continue for the Autumn period.

The park has been very important to the community during lockdown and our horticulture team are back bringing the gardens up to scratch and getting them ready for autumn. Our walking groups and coffee afternoons will be re-starting soon and Bow Food Bank continues to operate on Mondays 8.30am – 12.30pm.
