Learning services secure quality accreditation

The Matrix Standard, awarded to our services, is the Department for Education’s (DfE) standard for ensuring the quality of the delivery of high-standard information, advice and guidance.

Service providers are benchmarked against best practice and those that meet the full quality standard are awarded accreditation. This award covers many of our services including employability support, ESOL courses, and training.

There have been significant changes for education since pre-pandemic times with a big shift to online and blended learning. Our Employability and Learning team have substantially changed and developed their delivery approach over the last two years to meet the needs of the community and to achieve this outcomes-based accreditation.
