Over £8000 has been raised by five fundraisers competing in this year’s London Marathon on Sunday April 23rd 2023.

All runners completed the course in good time and in good spirits.  They lead busy professional lives and managed to fit in their arduous training around work demands.

  1. Simon Bevan our Chair of Trustees and his wife Kate were running for the Centre again.  Simon finished the course just in time to catch a flight to Abu Dhabi for work the next day.
  2. Busy vascular surgeon at Barts Health NHS Trust, Tara Mastracci  and her partner Ed were both keen to raise money to maintain our services that offer integrated support for people coming out of hospital.
  3. Dr Joe Hall, a partner at Bromley by Bow Health Partnership completed the course in under four hours and was back at work seeing patients the next day.

A big thank you from everyone at the Centre 🙏🏽
