We are delighted to announce the four talented winners of our 2025 Investec Beyond Business programme. The successful entrepreneurs were chosen after a final stage ‘Dragon’s Den’ style pitch. The programme, funded by Investec, offers seed funding and expert advice and support from Investec volunteer mentors to businesses that have been created for social impact.

James Marr from Bamboo Bicycle Club (top left)
Bamboo Bicycle Club reconnects excluded learners with education by delivering hands-on, industry-relevant, accredited programmes in sustainable design and mobility to open pathways into further study, employment or enterprise.
Annie Hought from Round Retail (bottom left)
Round Retail sells quality, preloved, mid-luxury branded items online and at pop-up stores. The sustainable clothing solution provides sellers with one third of the sale price and uses the balance to fund local charities and fund expansion.
Danny Stokes from TrailFam (top right)
TrailFam aims to improve the lives of young people across the UK through trail running. Its programmes foster a love of movement while building a community of young people ready to connect with each other and the outdoors.
Ben Anderson from Feeling Social (bottom right)
Feeling Social’s young and engaging team of experts provide flexible in-person and online mental health first aid training to help organisations build a happier, healthier and more productive workforce.
We’re really looking forward to seeing these inspiring entrepreneurs further develop their businesses, working in partnership with many of the talented people at Investec and Bromley by Bow Centre.
To date, the Centre, together with Investec, has helped launch 72 social impact enterprises which in turn have created more than 430 jobs. We look forward to the contribution of this year’s winners to their communities and society at large.
