Fun Palaces celebrate community at the heart of culture, and culture at the heart of community. They are local events that happen all over the world, on the same weekend, bringing together arts, craft, science and sports activities. Led by local people, for local people, Fun Palaces are all about sharing individual passions and skills.

This year, we are holding a Fun Palace event with the theme of recycling and upcycling.

We will be joined by many local artists, makers, businesses and projects, including Plastic Free Roman Road, East End Energy Fit, skilled crafters from East Xchange, Tower Hamlets Recycling and Waste as well as Crafts Council presenting Silo Studio.

Come along to meet other locals, learn a new skill and to have fun!

Maybe you’d like to learn how to make slime? Or join in on a craft hack or upcycling workshop?

This event is free and open to all, adults and children alike!
