Rise 2 Shine has developed a new training programme to help people gain skills and build confidence.

In January, at the Community Connections event, we heard many people describing their desire to learn new things and to access training. The new training programme has been designed to be helpful for both personal and professional life, and will include First Aid, Emotional First Aid, Paediatric First Aid and Level 2 Basic Food Hygiene sessions.

Other sessions planned are ‘Public Speaking and Confidence’ and ‘How to Write a 3-minute Pitch’, which will come in handy for the next Community Voting Day

The training is in-person and is available to all Tower Hamlets residents over the age of 18. Where possible, we will make adjustments to meet people’s different learning and access needs.

You can find the full timetable below. The first session is on 5th May and will take place every Thursday at the Bromley by Bow Centre.
