In July, we celebrated our 35th anniversary by inviting members of our community to a lunch, and to share their stories of transformation.

On June 9th, our Head of Operations, Catherine Tollington, and Kate Coules in the Employment and Skills team, paddled 30 kilometres in the annual Vogalonga race in Venice as part of a Dragon Boat Team, The Wave Walkers.

Our 3rd Eid party, hosted by the EastXchange team, brought together 70 people across our 5 locations.

This year the Bromley by Bow Centre turns 35 and to mark the occasion we’re holding a series of events and activities that celebrate our stories of transformation.

For the second year, Bromley by Bow Centre staff and visitors are proud to join the National Theatre for a production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It at Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch.

Our recent community research, commissioned by Public Health England, aimed to find out what local people value in their life and make sure what we do has real benefit.

Last Thursday, fellows from the postgraduate course Year Here staged an impromptu event at the Bromley by Bow Centre to draw attention to the dangerously high levels of air pollution in the borough.

Mind the Dash is a powerful new film made by a group of people about their experiences of living with and beyond cancer. It is an intimate story that is a tribute to the power of collaborative film making.
