Our group of inspirational local carers have restarted their coffee group and would like to invite individuals and families in need of connection and good conversation to join them.

The Covid pandemic has been difficult for many people, especially those who have been shielding and may feel isolated. For those looking after a family member who cannot cope without their support, the experience has been incredibly challenging.

Sharing that experience with others over coffee and activities is beneficial for our wellbeing.

When: 10am – 12noon
Where: The Welcome Hub at the Bromley by Bow Centre, E3 3BT

All are welcome.

The group met in December 2021 and made festive wreaths together.

In 2022, as a group we will start planning our sessions for the year ahead.

For the next few months we’ll aim to run craft activities during our coffee mornings and when the weather is warmer, we’ll run some gardening sessions in our beautiful Bob’s Park.

The next coffee morning for carers (and non-carers) will be held onĀ Wednesday 9th February 2022, 10.00-12pm in the Welcome Hub.
