Cast off those winter blues.  Bring yourself, your friends and your family to our first festival of the year on 15th March, 2023 from 10am to 2pm.

The event is completely free and lunch will be provided.  Everyone, of all ages, is welcome for a fun, inspiring and heart-warming event, whatever the weather.  We want to hear from you too, on what would make things better for families in our area.

There’s so much to do:

  • DISCOVER and LEARN – Find out what’s going on locally
  • MAKE and DO – Take part in activity and creative workshops
  • ENJOY – Join wellbeing taster sessions
  • CONNECT – Meet new local friends and families


  • PLAY – Let the kids get involved in age-appropriate activities whilst you share your thoughts and concerns around family wellbeing
  • LEARN about support available to keep finances as healthy as possible during the cost of living crisis
  • SHARE – tell us what would improve things for your family in our area
  • DIG -Try your hand at horticulture and learn more about the positive effects of the natural world on physical and mental health
  • EAT -Come and enjoy a free healthy lunch

School strike

At the time of writing, a school strike is planned for this day but no problem, school age kids are welcome too, there’s plenty for everyone to enjoy.

Like to run an activity or event?

If you or your community would like to hold at stall or activity at the event, you are very welcome.  Final deadline for inclusion is Tuesday 28th February to  Applications after that date will not be able to be included due to planning and risk management procedures.
