Special summer art exhibition - June 2023

This year’s Summer Exhibition is a special one.  It’s the Centre’s 40th year and art has been at the heart of our community approach ever since 1984.  You can see the works on 23^rd and 24^th June at the Centre – everyone is welcome.

Our seven resident artists have been a key feature of the Centre for many years, inspiring people in our community to express their creativity and connect with each other through art.

The group will be exhibiting their work at the Centre.  Everyone is welcome, you will be able to visit studios, talk to the artists and browse art pieces including paintings, sculpture, stained glass and ceramics.

Friday 23rd June – viewing from 12 noon, opening event 4pm – 8pm

Saturday 24th June – 12pm – 6pm

• Margy Creber – painter
• Sheenagh McKinlay – stained glass and mosaics
• Paula Haughney – stone sculpture
• Frank Creber – fine artist
• John Crabb – ceramics

Original and beautiful pieces will be on show for enjoyment and purchase.  A proportion of income from pieces sold goes towards maintaining our vital community services.
