February 2020
Our Trustee, Simon Bevan is taking on an extreme challenge, running 200 kilometres in hostile conditions on the African Island nation of San Tome. You can read more about his story and make a contribution towards his impressive £10k target.
April 2020
Gillian O’Riordan is fulfilling a long-held dream by running the London Marathon in April. She says,
As a primary school teacher working in an inner city London school much of my daily job involves caring for children’s social and emotional needs, and for many, academic achievement comes second. Simply getting into school is a success and sadly for some, the classroom is a safe heaven for them. The people that Bromley by Bow work with are sometimes on the margins of society and desperately need their support. I am rooting for their success!
35 years, 350 days, let’s raise £350,000
Protecting and growing the services and activities that support our community to stay connected and healthy is one of the central aims of the 35th anniversary year campaign.
Your generosity can make a real difference. Every contribution will help our local community to improve their health and wellbeing, learn new skills, and create a better life for themselves and their families. If you’d like to contribute to our goal, please donate.
