Storyboard
Storyboard is one of Social Care’s newest sessions, run by one of the Bromley by Bow Centre’s founding artists. Working in a small group, members work together to produce a regular newsletter for the Centre’s staff and guests. Comic strips, creative writing, quizzes and interviews accompany photographs and art produced in the sessions and other Social Care classes, to create a colourful final product that our members can be proud of. Storyboard is for members of all abilities and the focus of sessions is guided by their broad and varied interests. Sometimes a Storyboard edition will follow a particular theme, but often it incorporates a mix of news and events from the Social Care team and around the Centre.
A painter by trade, Frank Creber leads our sessions with his trademark warm and witty approach. With over 30 years’ experience leading art sessions for members of all ages and abilities, including the long-running Arteast class on Tuesday afternoons, Frank is a popular member of our team. His paintings can be found here.
