The Park

People busy in the park at the Bromley by Bow Centre

The Bromley by Bow Centre sits in a three-acre park, affectionately known as Bob’s Park after the local keeper who looked after it during the 1950s and 1960s.

For over thirty years, the Centre has worked with the local community to improve and manage the land and create a much needed beautiful green space for everyone to enjoy. We have a children’s play area, grass for picnics and games, a small community allotment and a secret garden for children to learn about wildlife. Our ornamental garden is perfect for quiet reflection. The area is used for local community events and festivals including the annual Unity Festival and Summer Fair.

Our lovely three-acre park is a sanctuary for our local community during the COVID19 crisis. You can enjoy our park 7 days a week 8am until 8pm.
