Example of works on show
Artist: Murude Mehmet
Statler & Waldorf Hare Mates – Earthenware sculptures with blue oxide (26cm-12cm-20.5cm)
“I love to create! Especially with clay, my emotional connection with the raw material provokes excitement to produce something beautiful. I use luscious glazes by layering and firing many times; the colour glazes bleed and entwine creating a picture of nature, the sky, planets and the universe”

Paul Shaw
Radio City. Leaded and painted glass. Based on carpet design for Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
“The techniques and tools I’ve used to make stained glass are the same as those which were being used in the medieval period. This is my last exhibition in this medium. I am continuing to explore my interest in design and colour but through the medium of fabric arts”

Margy Creber
Birds Flying – Oil on Canvas 60 x 50 cm
As a founding artist of the Bromley by Bow centre, Margy has lived with her family and worked in East London for 35 years.
Margy paints from observation and memory. Horse riding experiences have led to the horse motifs in some of the paintings. The flower and the swan paintings are made from life.
