Active Health is a sport and physical activity programme for Tower Hamlets residents aged 18 plus living with a mental health condition.

The overall aim of the programme is to engage and increase the physical activity levels of 120 participants over a 12 month period; whilst providing opportunities for social interaction and connections with others. Residents will participate in a sport and physical activity programme based at the Bromley by Bow Centre.

The Active Health programme is an important opportunity for the Bromley by Bow Centre to model new ways of working with residents who are living with a mental health condition and build on our existing values and underlying principles. The role will co-ordinate delivery of the Active Health programme and its related activities within the borough. The successful candidate will be responsible for working collaboratively with local partners to engage participants onto the programmeand to create welcoming and supportive environments to participate in sport and physical activities together.
