Tutorial: How to record Social Prescribing SNOMED codes
As PCNs are paid on the number of referrals they make under SNOMED codes, and these codes are the only measure consistent across the whole of London and the UK, it is crucial SPLWs are coding correctly – we recorded a 15 minute ‘how to’: How to record Social Prescribing SNOMED codes – this session will cover:
- What is a SNOMED code? What is the bigger picture & why is it important?
- Where to find them, what codes and how to use, what shortcuts are available with a demonstration on EMIS as an example
- What to do without access to EMIS
- Reporting & monitoring & how you can use SNOMED in your work
